According to TechCabal, Atlas 777 Media Ltd launched its debut podcast addressing a gap where "complexity is usually a gate, not a genuine barrier to entry." Each episode features a guest explaining their industry using structured questions designed to strip away jargon.

Nigerian media company Atlas 777 Media Ltd has added a new show to the country's podcast ecosystem. Dumb It Down: The Clarity Lab addresses what the company identifies as a structural gap in business journalism: the assumption that industry knowledge must remain locked behind professional terminology.

The show's premise rests on a deliberate format structure. Each episode follows "a tight structural arc: an opening reframe that pulls the guest's world into universal terms, a section built around direct, unflinching questions, a 'Clarity Challenge' that forces the guest to explain their entire domain in language a stranger could use immediately, and a closing segment that steps away from the professional entirely."

Hosted by filmmaker and producer Abimbola Craig, the first season features interviews across finance, technology, hospitality, retail and creative sectors. The format reflects an editorial philosophy that knowledge gaps in business coverage are not inevitable, but designed.

For African podcast ecosystems, the show represents a specific editorial format choice: the structured explainer interview. As podcast audiences on the continent expand, formats that make specialist knowledge accessible have begun filling space between entertainment and documentary programming.
